detox - day 10

Today I woke up at 8:30am and then taught for an hour. After teaching, I drank 4 ounces of spirulina and then took my supplements. I then ate raw cereal with fresh blueberries on top for breakfast.

As for symptoms, I had the usual runny nose and again felt very dehydrated (this seems crazy because I am consuming so many liquids!). A new development is that my skin has started to get more blemishes, which is another detox symptom. My BM was normal.

On Wednesdays, I usually go to my to my step aerobics class, but today I felt like giving myself a break. Plus I had a lot of work to catch up on, so I decided to stay home before my afternoon appointment.

Today was my third consecutive colonic. I had a new specialist working with me and her method was a bit different than what I was used to; let's just say it was a bit more intense. However, I could not believe how much more of a release I had today from the previous day. Hydrotherapy is a truly fascinating process, not something I would say that I enjoy, but something I am willing to do to improve my health.

After my session, I walked over to Karyn's Fresh Corner and had a shot of wheatgrass (as mine is not yet ready to harvest). I then made some appointments for next week for some bonus detoxing services at Karyn's Inner Beauty.

Once I made it home, I took a second dose of ultra flora, had a glass of oxykare water and then drank my 16 ounce green veggie juice (kale, celery, carrot & mint) that Andrew and I had made yesterday. I will say that pure veggie juice is not my favorite and I hope that I can acquire a taste for it.

Two hours later, I made my green meal shake and drank it during my afternoon teaching. In my break, I marinated a portobello mushroom in olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. I then grabbed my kamut water and continued teaching. After I finished teaching, I chopped up a portobello mushroom and put it in my energy soup (which I had made the day before). I felt very full and satisfied after eating this. About a half hour later I took the rest of my supplements, had my second tablespoon of coconut oil and then began drinking the rest of my oxykare water.

As usual, I finished the day by drinking the psyllium-detox clay cocktail.
