detox - day 23

This morning I woke up at 9:30am. I headed upstairs and took the systemic enzymes, drank 4 ounces of spirulina and took a dropper full of oil of oregano. I also made a fresh batch of kamut water and a green meal shake, which I packed up for later.

Before I headed out for my DM class, I ate some raw cereal with almond milk.  After class I went to the juice bar and ordered a grand slam (a shot of wheatgrass, ginger and 2 shots of watermelon).

Then I went to LUSH to pick up a few items. While I was there, I asked a few more questions about the henna hair coloring process. This is what I gleaned: One does not need to leave the henna on the hair more than 2 1/2 hours, as the hair follicle can only absorb so much dye and is completely full after that period of time. Adding lemon juice to the henna lightens the hair color, whereas apple cider vinegar does not. Rinsing the hair with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water will leave the hair super shiny.

After my Lush excursion, I headed to the academy to teach. While teaching I drank the kamut water and half of my green meal shake.

Then I had some errands to run, so I sipped a harmless harvest coconut water and ate 1 chia moon drop.

When I got home I drank the other half of my green meal shake and then taught for another hour.

After teaching I was pretty hungry, so I made some raw vegan tacos - I got this idea from a YouTube video! For the filling I pureed (walnuts, ancho chile powder,1 teaspoon of raw honey & sea salt). I then made a batch of guacamole (avocado, cilantro, tomato, serrano & lime). And for the shell I used collard green leaves. I topped off my filling with some alfalfa sprouts. This was the first meal in a while where I had felt truly satisfied.

About an hour later I ate a Hail Merry's Meyer Lemon Miracle Tart.

Two hours later I drank the oxykare water, took the systemic enzymes and headed for bed.

As for symptoms my sore throat was gone, but I still had some sinus drainage which ended up in my chest. My skin was quite dry, but my BM was normal. I also had had some intense food cravings before dinner.

"A desire arises in the mind. It is satisfied immediately another comes. In the interval which separates two desires a perfect calm reigns in the mind. It is at this moment freed from all thought, love or hate. Complete peace equally reigns between two mental waves."
